Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sal Blare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Pintravon!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pintravon throws a shot from downtown. Blare moves away and avoids it.
Blare throws a sloppy head kick and Pintravon moves out of range easily.
Pintravon moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Sal Blare has been cut.
Pintravon fails to land with a series of punches.
Pintravon misses with a head kick.
Blare really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Blare avoids the head kick by Pintravon.
Blare showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pintravon.
Blare scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Blare is controlling the pace.
Blare's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Blare prevents Pintravon from standing back up.

Blare sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Blare is trying to control the action in half guard but Pintravon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pintravon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blare. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pintravon can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sal Blare.
Pintravon throws a sloppy head kick and Blare moves out of range easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pintravon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Pintravon misses with the combination.
Pintravon tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Blare is able to avoid easily.
Pintravon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pintravon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blare is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Blare shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Pintravon is refusing to be controlled, as Blare sits in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blare sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Blare blocks the strikes from Pintravon.
Blare prevents Pintravon from improving his position.
Blare stops Pintravon from getting back to his feet.
Blare frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Blare breaks from Pintravon's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Blare looking to secure an arm triangle but Pintravon defends it well.
Blare controlling from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pintravon is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Travis Pintravon will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Sal Blare's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pintravon scores with a leg kick.
Pintravon throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pintravon throws a right and a left that Blare avoids nicely.
Pintravon feints a jab and as Blare dips his head, Pintravon unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Blare right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Blare falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Pintravon smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Travis Pintravon!
