Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Slipo Mocny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and christopher whiting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). christopher whiting will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
whiting shoots in but no luck this time.

whiting closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
whiting wants to control but Mocny is keeping him busy.
Mocny is holding on to half guard well.
whiting wants to take a breather but Mocny is having none of it.
whiting missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mocny is looking to control whiting's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mocny avoid being mounted?
Mocny is staying active underneath whiting, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
