Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between ze asdrubal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Tyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, ze asdrubal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stephen Tyre!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
asdrubal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyre tries to avoid it but asdrubal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyre to the ground. Tyre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tyre tries to clinch but asdrubal is having none of it.
Tyre darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
asdrubal is doing well to control the position and prevent Tyre from advancing to side control.
asdrubal's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Tyre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tyre has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, asdrubal works to full guard.
asdrubal has his foot on Tyre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tyre works his way back into a safe position though.
Tyre wants to control from the top but asdrubal keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Tyre! asdrubal is out on his feet! Tyre rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - asdrubal is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! asdrubal is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stephen Tyre!
