Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Kimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Dunn! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Kimble! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimble throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dunn throws a quick inside leg kick. Dunn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kimble lands a two punch combo.
Dunn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kimble sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dunn somewhat. Dunn throws a series of punches but Kimble moves out of range. A looping hook to the body misses from Kimble. Dunn does a little dance to reset his feet. Kimble connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Kimble closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dunn lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kimble backwards. Dunn lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Dunn wants to stall.

Dunn fails to pull guard.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kimble. Dunn drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kimble pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Dunn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dunn shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunn trying to control from half guard but Kimble is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dunn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kimble tries to get to full guard but Dunn has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dunn wants to advance to full mount but Kimble doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Dunn dives in and grabs Kimble's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kimble pushes down on Dunn's head and hops out. Dunn throws a nice outside leg kick. Dunn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kimble. Kimble takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Kimble shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dunn as he avoids it easily. Dunn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kimble's calf. Kimble throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dunn counters with a left and a right that stings Kimble. Kimble fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Kimble counters with a stiff right hand. Kimble wants to clinch up but Dunn keeps it at a distance. Dunn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Kimble counter with a right hand. Dunn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimble throws a series of punches but Dunn avoids them all with ease. A punch combination from Dunn misses. Dunn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dunn has hold of Kimble's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kimble tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dunn cranks the arm and Kimble screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kimble, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mark Dunn! Mark Dunn is the new bantamweight champion!
