Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leo Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leo Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eddie Penn! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Henderson moves into range and connects with a jab. Henderson throws a lazy right hand but Penn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Henderson throws out a leg kick but Penn moves out of range and Henderson only half commits. A jab from Penn does it's job there. Henderson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Penn. Henderson avoids the head kick by Penn.
Henderson tries to bum rush Penn with a series of wild strikes but Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Henderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn. Henderson scores with a push kick. Henderson swings away with a leg kick that misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Henderson.
Henderson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Henderson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Penn postures up in Henderson's guard and throws a big left but Henderson blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn drops back, looking for a kneebar! Henderson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Henderson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Henderson! Henderson controls the position. Penn is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Penn can't do much from the bottom here. Penn is trying to get back to half guard. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn manages to get back to half guard. Penn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Penn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Henderson is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Penn is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Penn works his way to full guard. Good work. Penn doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Penn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Henderson manages to get himself to full guard.
Penn throws a strike but Henderson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Henderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Henderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Henderson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Penn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Henderson misses with a two punch combination.
Henderson lands a slapping body shot.
Penn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Henderson. Penn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Penn misses with a wild body shot. Penn walks into a stiff left hand from Henderson. Penn shoots in for a double leg but Henderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Henderson misses with a two punch combination.
Henderson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Penn avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Henderson misses. Henderson misses with an uppercut. Henderson misses with the combination.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Penn, right into the meat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Penn scores with a one two! Henderson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Henderson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Henderson tries to bum rush Penn with a series of wild strikes but Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Penn looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Leo Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Penn. Henderson misses with a hook to the body
and Penn counters with a left right combination that sends Henderson crashing to the mat - Penn wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Henderson out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
