Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Khavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dent might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Samuel Peter - WHO NECKS?!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Khavin coming out on top.

Khavin holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Khavin is staying active underneath Dent, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Dent is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Khavin sees it coming and defends easily.
Dent is looking to take a break and control but Khavin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Dent is just content to waste time from the top position. Khavin takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Khavin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dent.

Khavin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dent doesn't seem bothered though.
Khavin sizes up Dent with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Khavin, right into the meat.

Dent is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
