Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaari Kuukonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuukonen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Armin Van Buuren - Rapture. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukonen throws a nice looking combination but Dean bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dean tries to clinch up.
Kuukonen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dean kicks Kuukonen off and gets back to his feet.
Jaari Kuukonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean throws a shot from downtown. Kuukonen moves away and avoids it.

and Kuukonen counters with a good low kick that Dean was not able to check.

and Kuukonen makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Dean really felt that one!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kuukonen cracks Dean with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Dean shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kuukonen counters with a three punch combo that has Dean backing up. Dean nods at Kuukonen to acknowledge the strikes.
Kuukonen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dean napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Dean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuukonen on the ground.
