Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Shar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Shar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rampage Slice! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Shar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Slice counters with a takedown into side control. Slice is chipping away with strikes.
Slice creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Shar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Slice lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shar down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slice misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ground and pound from Slice seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Slice has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Shar dodges the ground and pound from Slice. Shar regains half guard, as Slice was trying to land strikes. Slice is thwarting Shar's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Slice thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Shar to regain full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Slice misses with a takedown attempt and Shar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rampage Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shar fails to land the takedown. Shar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Slice. Mike Shar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Slice. Slice shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Slice throws a big right hand that misses. Slice postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Shar is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Shar has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Slice uses from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slice working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Shar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slice is one step ahead there. Slice with a flurry of punches that miss. Slice throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slice in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Slice lands a couple of digs. Slice looks gassed! Slice throwing strikes but missing. Shar trying to keep a closed guard but Slice is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Slice throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shar keeping full guard, as Slice tries to pass. Shar is looking to stand up but Slice isn't so interested in that idea. Slice with a flurry of punches that miss. Shar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Slice is one step ahead there. Slice scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rampage Slice dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Shar wants to clinch. Shar jabs at Slice's body. Shar lands a nice hook to Slice's body. Slice takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slice fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shar avoids it really well and circles away. Shar tries to clinch there but Slice circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Shar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Slice at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Slice tries for a takedown but Shar circles away easily and Shar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Slice misses with a takedown attempt and Shar counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Shar. Mike Shar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Slice. Shar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Slice shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Shar counters with a one-two to the body. Slice is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Slice swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shar scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Slice drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shar wants to get back to his feet. Slice throwing strikes but Shar manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Shar wants to stand but Slice is controlling his arm. Slice tries to strike but it doesn't land. Slice manages to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shar blocks the strikes from Slice.
Shar trying to control the action but Slice is working from the bottom. Slice is looking to get back to full guard here but Shar has managed to pass to side control instead. Shar prevents Slice from getting the reversal. Shar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Slice tries to reverse the position but Shar maintains control. Slice throwing hammer fists to the chest of Shar. What's that going to do exactly? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Shar dominated that second round. That's time! Shar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Slice gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Shar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Slice thinking. A right-left combo lands from Shar. Slice shoots in for a takedown but Shar shows good takedown defense. Shar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Slice counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Slice thows a big elbow that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Slice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Slice working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Shar is pulling down on Slice's head to control his posture. Slice trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Shar controls Slice momentarily but Slice frees himself. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slice accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Shar looking for a sweep. Not yet Shar, not yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Slice with a poor takedown and Shar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Mike Shar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Slice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nice body punch from Shar. Shar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slice avoids it really well and circles away. Slice shoots in but Shar avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shar paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Shar connects with a body shot. Shar scores with a jab to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Shar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Slice.
Shar tries to close the distance and clinch but Slice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shar looks to score with a jab to the body but Slice is just out of range. Shar lands a jab to Slice's midsection. Rampage Slice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Slice takes a body punch but keeps moving. Shar with a lazy takedown attempt and Slice counters with a single leg into guard. Shar didn't expect that. Slice prevents Shar from getting back to his feet. Slice with a flurry of punches that miss. Slice wants to pass the guard but Shar is keeping the position. Shar wants to stand but Slice is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Rampage Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Slice has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
