Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Onassis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Barney Stinson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onassis shoots in and drives through. Stinson sprawls well.
Andrew Onassis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Onassis tries to clinch up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Onassis is defended easily by Stinson.
Onassis shoots in for a takedown but Stinson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Onassis shoots in looking for a takedown. Stinson tries to sprawl out of it but Onassis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stinson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Stinson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Onassis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stinson sprawls well. Stinson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Onassis gets slowly back to his feet.

and Stinson counters with a head kick. That will keep Onassis thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Onassis has Stinson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stinson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Stinson lands with a kick to the temple. Onassis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Stinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Onassis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stinson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Onassis just stands there and leans against the cage.
Onassis throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Onassis is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stinson is defending well for now.
Onassis tries for a takedown but Stinson manages to get underhooks.

Stinson breaks the clinch.
Stinson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Onassis's calf.
Stinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Stinson counters with a single leg into guard. Onassis didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stinson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Onassis's defenses.
Onassis tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Stinson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Onassis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stinson blocks it with crossed arms.

Stinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Onassis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stinson sprawls well. Stinson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Onassis gets slowly back to his feet.
Stinson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Andrew Onassis will probably get the nod.

and Stinson counters with an outside leg kick.

and Stinson counters with a good low kick that Onassis was not able to check.

and Onassis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Stinson swats away the attempt to clinch by Onassis.
Onassis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stinson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Onassis somewhat.

Barney Stinson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
