Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Badd fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Brute works over Badd's head and body with a nice combination.
Badd avoids the body shot from Brute.
Badd looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Badd displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brute throws out the jab.

Badd closes the distance and clinches up with Brute, looking for a takedown. Badd pushes Brute against the cage but Brute circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Brute dips to his left and cracks Badd with an uppercut!
Badd fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Brute checks it well.

Brute blocks a head kick by Badd.
Brute stuns Badd with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Brute misses with an uppercut. Badd saw that one coming.
Badd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brute's waist but Brute gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Badd off to one side.

Badd shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Badd showed some decent athleticism there.
Badd prevents Brute from improving his position.
Badd lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Badd working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Badd is pressing down on Brute's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brute is holding on for now.
Brute is looking to control Badd's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brute avoid being mounted?
Badd will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Brute working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Badd doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Brute is tightening it up a little... Badd has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Badd reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Badd taps out! nice BJJ there by Brute!
