Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ares Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ares Summers is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ares Summers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronald Carr! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carr shoots in and drives through. Summers sprawls well. Carr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Summers as he jumps to the side. Carr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Summers circles away. Ares Summers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Carr. Carr darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Carr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Carr not landing any meaningful shots this time. Carr thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Carr thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Summers's head. Carr is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Summers is positioning himself well to prevent Carr advancing to mount. Summers gets full guard. Summers looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Carr throwing strikes but missing. Summers managing to control the position. Summers is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Summers avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Summers is on top in guard.
Carr striking off his back but it's not causing Summers any problems. Carr tries to strike from the bottom.
Carr wants to sweep but no luck. Summers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carr keeping moving, preventing Summers from controlling successfully. Summers stands up from guard. Let's bang! Summers shoots and misses and Carr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carr won't allow Summers to sweep him here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Summers lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Carr! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Summers looking to control but Carr is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Carr flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Summers stands up from mount. Strange move. Summers drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carr has his feet on Summers's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Carr has his takedown stuffed and Summers counters with a single leg into guard. Carr didn't expect that. Carr looks gassed! Carr keeping moving, preventing Summers from controlling successfully. Carr not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summers wants to control from the top but Carr keeps moving. Summers looking to sit in guard and control but Carr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carr working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Summers working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carr.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Summers tries to clinch up. Ronald Carr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carr has his takedown stuffed and Summers counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carr can do anything to dispel that myth. Summers moves nicely into side control. Carr throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Carr is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Summers controls the position from side control. Summers avoids the strikes from the bottom by Carr. Summers moves into full mount! Carr tries to reverse the position but Summers maintains control. Carr slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Summers is trying to work for a kimura but Carr is defending well.
Carr tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carr missing with punches from the bottom.
Summers takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Summers is thwarting Carr's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ares Summers dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Carr drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Summers's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Carr working the ground and pound. Summers struggling a bit here. Carr in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Summers is trying to control Carr's posture but Carr avoids it. Summers is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Carr's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Summers gets back to full guard.
Carr lands a couple of elbows. Summers pulls Carr in to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Carr is breathing heavily. Summers manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Summers has hold of Carr's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carr manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Carr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Summers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Summers working for a guillotine from mount but Carr is in no mood to give up. Carr throwing hammer fists to the chest of Summers. What's that going to do exactly? Carr throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Carr is in all sorts of trouble here.
Summers wants to control the pace but Carr is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Summers blocks Carr's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Carr regains half guard. Summers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Summers not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Carr landing small, sideways elbows. Summers is looking for a kimura but Carr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Summers to get the leverage. Carr flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Summers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Carr keeps working. Summers tries to advance to mount but can't.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Carr gets the takedown into side control. Carr throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. You can see the frustration on Summers's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Summers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Carr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Summers trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Summers moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Carr postures up and lands a big shot to Summers's brow. Carr working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Summers controlling the position. Carr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ares Summers. Summers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ares Summers will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Summers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Carr stands and throws Summers's legs to the side, diving into side control. Summers is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Carr off and has taken his back! Carr rolls, trying to escape but Summers keeps control of the position.
Carr is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Summers off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Summers looking for the RNC. Carr tries to escape the position.
Summers has managed to slip his arm under Carr's chin. This could be all over... yep, Carr is tapping out! Submission win for Summers.
