The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neal shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zilva as he avoids it easily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Zilva. That's going to slow Neal down.
Stephen Neal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zilva's guard.
Neal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zilva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neal has managed to get both his arms back between Zilva's legs - danger averted.
Zilva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Neal defends well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Neal is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Zilva doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Neal throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Zilva has his feet on Neal's thighs here. He's pushed Neal off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Neal screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
