Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Knockout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Cote IV!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cote IV darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Cote IV is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Knockout is just riding it out for now. Cote IV eventually gives up the hold.

Cote IV looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cote IV is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Knockout doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cote IV.

Cote IV is looking for a kimura but Knockout is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cote IV to get the leverage.
Knockout wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knockout controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knockout moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Knockout is pulling down on Cote IV's head. It's preventing any offense from Cote IV, at least for the moment.

Knockout is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Knockout gets underhooks to prevent Cote IV's takedown attempt.
Cote IV looks gassed!
Knockout is trying to force a seperation but Cote IV has the dominant position.
Cote IV is working for takedown but Knockout is calmly controlling the position for now.

Knockout breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Knockout bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cote IV's head backwards.
Knockout scores with a sloppy right hand. Cote IV should have avoided that one.
Knockout thuds a left hand into Cote IV's body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cote IV has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knockout finds it's way round the side to connect with Cote IV's head.

Knockout lands a big head kick that sends Cote IV tumbling to the mat! Knockout takes a step backwards and waves Cote IV back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Cote IV is rocked!
Knockout lands an uppercut, right on the button! Cote IV tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jay Knockout!
