Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Hedley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loco has chosen IM & GMS - Arabian Knights On Mescaline as his entrance music. Manuel Loco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Hedley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manuel Loco! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hedley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Loco as he avoids it easily. Loco slaps away a takedown attempt from Hedley, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hedley is trying hard to land a takedown here. Loco sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felipe Hedley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Loco clinches up with Hedley and pushes him back against the cage. Hedley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Loco fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hedley fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Loco has closed the distance and engaged Hedley in a clinch.
Loco with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Loco has picked Hedley up - he's going for a ride! Loco dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Hedley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Loco scores with a couple of nice shots. Loco performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Loco has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Loco working the head and body with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Loco is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Loco is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hedley has managed to free his arm - good work. Hedley tries to kick Loco off but Loco keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Loco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hedley keeps working. Loco thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hedley's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Loco is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hedley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Loco. Loco seems to be working for a kimura but Hedley defends the submission attempt. Hedley avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Loco.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loco is pressing down on Hedley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hedley is holding on for now. Loco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Loco is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hedley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Loco on the ground. Hedley wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Loco is pressing down on Hedley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hedley is holding on for now. Loco is looking to take a break and control but Hedley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hedley is looking to escape. Loco looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Loco not doing much here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Loco pushes Hedley back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Hedley wants a takedown.
Loco has clasped his hands together around Hedley's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Hedley defending against the ground and pound. Loco stands up and beckons Hedley to his feet. Loco shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Loco showed some decent athleticism there. Loco throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Loco is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hedley is just riding it out for now. Loco eventually gives up the hold. Loco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hedley keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Loco controlling the action here. Loco not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loco is looking to take a break and control but Hedley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Loco stalling away here and it's allowed Hedley to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Loco stands and steps away. Hedley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Loco swings away with a leg kick that misses. Hedley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Loco counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Loco has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hedley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Loco works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Hedley wants to get back to his feet but Loco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Loco is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hedley keeping moving, preventing Loco from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manuel Loco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Hedley has his takedown stuffed and Loco counters by clinching up. Loco is pressed up against the cage. Hedley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Loco down to the mat. Loco avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hedley tries for a takedown but Loco circles away easily and Loco counters with a two punch combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felipe Hedley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Loco closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hedley to the mat! Hedley manages to get full guard. Loco is pushing down on Hedley's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hedley is fighting to maintain full guard but Loco has managed to sneak the leg through. Hedley blocking the ground and pound attempt from Loco. Loco is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hedley! Loco landing punches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hedley wants to try and get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Loco scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hedley?

Loco pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. A nice elbow there by Loco. A nice elbow there by Loco. Hedley taking shots to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loco controlling his opponent. Hedley takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loco lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Loco postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hedley looks a forlorn figure.
Loco controlling from the full mount. Loco working for a guillotine from mount but Hedley is in no mood to give up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loco controlling the position easily from mount. A nice elbow there by Loco. Felipe Hedley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Manuel Loco is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Loco wants to finish this one by submission but Hedley is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Loco. Hedley wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Manuel Loco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Loco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
