Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Licksom Hairyballs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melat Meccoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meccoon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Disturbed - Warrior. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meccoon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hairyballs's guard.

Meccoon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Meccoon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hairyballs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Meccoon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hairyballs has managed to get both his arms back between Meccoon's legs - danger averted.

Hairyballs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Meccoon drops back looking for a leg! Hairyballs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hairyballs manages to kick Meccoon off! Meccoon jumps back into Hairyballs's guard.

Meccoon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hairyballs is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Meccoon, into his guard.
