Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robot Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan McNeil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan McNeil is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robot Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ryan McNeil! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNeil looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Joe! Joe is looking to improve his position but McNeil isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. McNeil tries to get up but Joe was controlling his body and he's reversed into guard. Joe looking to pass the guard. Joe trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but McNeil manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Joe is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Joe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Joe trying to keep a closed guard but McNeil is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe is looking for a triangle but McNeil pushes his legs off easily.
McNeil trying to control the position from guard on top but Joe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Joe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. McNeil pushes Joe off looking to stand but Joe dives back in and keeps control.
McNeil wants to get back to full guard. Joe wants to pass the guard but McNeil is defending well. Joe is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McNeil defends it well. Joe is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Joe is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joe wants to pass to mount but McNeil is defending the position. Joe trying to control from McNeil's half guard. McNeil has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Joe trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but McNeil manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Joe had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. McNeil is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Joe Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take McNeil's back instead. Joe not allowing McNeil to control his hands. McNeil is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Joe off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe is persistently looking for the submission but McNeil is defending it well.
McNeil is really stuck here.
McNeil is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Joe gets his way!
Joe looking to break McNeil's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. McNeil remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Joe will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Joe keeps control of the position as McNeil tries to break free.
McNeil is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McNeil won't enjoy being in this position. Joe looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - McNeil is tapping - it's over boys! Joe picks up the submission victory!
