Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yung Dragun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Dragun's choice of entrance music: Fire Starter ( The prodigy ). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragun moves out of range as Roman throws a body kick.
Roman leaves Dragun with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dragun closes this distance looking for a takedown but Roman circles away.
Roman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dragun's head.
Dragun shoots for a double leg takedown but Roman sprawls well. He's pushed Dragun's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Scott Roman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yung Dragun.
Roman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dragun fails with a takedown attempt.
Dragun takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Roman misses with the combination.
Dragun shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roman but Roman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Roman - that will leave a mark!

Dragun shoots in for a double leg but Roman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dragun shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Roman defends it nicely.
Dragun closes the distance and clinches up with Roman, looking for a takedown. Dragun pushes Roman against the cage but Roman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dragun looks gassed!
Roman throws a combination. Dragun tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Dragun dives in and grabs Roman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Roman pushes down on Dragun's head and hops out.
Roman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dragun's head.
Dragun shoots in looking for a takedown. Roman tries to sprawl out of it but Dragun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Roman throws a sloppy head kick and Dragun moves out of range easily.
Dragun blocks a head kick by Roman.
Roman keeps Dragun at a distance using the push kick.
Roman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Roman lands a brutal head kick. Dragun looks out on his feet and Roman throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
