Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Soprano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soprano's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Woke up this morning. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Soprano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saburo looks for the body kick but Soprano saw that one coming. Soprano stuffs the takedown. Saburo shoots in for a double leg but Soprano sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Soprano closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Soprano working away. Soprano connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Saburo some visible discomfort.
Soprano scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Saburo to see if he's OK. Saburo tries to buck Soprano off but Soprano is having none of it. Soprano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Soprano working the body and head with strikes. Soprano grinds an elbow into Saburo's temple. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Soprano seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Saburo for as long as he can get away with. Soprano looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Soprano controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Saburo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Saburo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Soprano kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Saburo looks gassed! Soprano working the body and head with strikes. Soprano wants to control but Saburo is keeping him busy. Saburo taking punishment in the form of punches.

Saburo on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Saburo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Soprano grinds an elbow into Saburo's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saburo is trying to work for a sweep but Soprano has mounted him! Soprano controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Soprano punishing his opponent with strikes. Soprano looking to finish Saburo with some ground and pound. This is bad for Saburo! Soprano scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Saburo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Soprano. Soprano wants to finish this one by submission but Saburo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Soprano. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soprano working away from the top, dropping strikes. Saburo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soprano putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Soprano controlling from the full mount. Soprano breaks from Saburo's wrist control and lands an elbow. Soprano pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Soprano goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Saburo turns into him and now he's in Soprano's guard.
Saburo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Saburo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Saburo tries to free his leg and advance position but Soprano is retaining full guard. Soprano working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Saburo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Soprano is tightening it up a little... Saburo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Saburo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Saburo taps out! nice BJJ there by Soprano!
