Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Smart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smart comes to the cage accompanied by Billy Talent - Red Flag. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smart thows a left - swing and a miss!
The fighters circling - Smart throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A combination from Smart does no damage.
Smart punishes William's body with a nice straight punch.
No joy there for Smart, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smart scores with a body shot.
Smart swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smart throws a looping overhand right but William ducks down to avoid it.
Smart looks to land a combination but William avoids it well.
William takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smart swings and misses with a hook to the body.

William tries to clinch but Smart is having none of it.

Smart fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Smart swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smart is looking to wear down William with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

William shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smart manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
William trying to control but Smart is working from the bottom.

William is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
William looking to sit in guard and control but Smart gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
William looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Smart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. William swivels though and keeps the full guard.
William is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
William looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Smart tries to kick William off but William keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
William is working for a kimura but Smart is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Smart takes a swing at William's ribcage but misses.
William takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Smart misses with a hook. William ducked under it nicely.
Smart connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
William dodges the punch combination from Smart.
William takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Smart checks a leg kick nicely.
Smart ducks down and throws a hook to the body but William moves away.
Smart is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Smart throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smart throws a series of punches but William moves out of range.
William slips a straight right by Smart.
Smart throws a combination that misses
and William decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Smart's guard.
William trying to control but Smart is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
William is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Smart is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Smart has escaped and now he's on top!

Smart thows a big elbow that misses.
Smart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Smart has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing William to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Smart is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - William pulls down on the head and he's put Smart to sleep! This one is all over!
