Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mantis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Durden walks forward, straight into a front kick from Mantis.
Durden throws a jab when Mantis was well out of range.
Durden just misses with a punch to the body.
Durden misses with an uppercut. Mantis saw that one coming.
Mantis dodges the punch combination from Durden.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mantis.
Durden misses with a wild combination.
Durden bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mantis's head.
Mantis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mantis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Durden.
Durden just misses with a punch to the body.
Mantis misses with an uppercut. Durden saw that one coming.
Mantis slips under a jab from Durden.
Mantis lands with a nice body kick.
Durden is breathing heavily.
Mantis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Durden looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mantis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mantis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Durden.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mantis! Durden is out on his feet! Mantis rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Durden is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Durden is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Mantis!
