Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrel Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ziggy Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Animal I Have Become. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danzig works over Donovan's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Ziggy Donovan has been cut.
Danzig just misses with a punch to the body.
Donovan shoots in and bounces Danzig off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donovan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Danzig's head.
Donovan stays in close to Danzig's body and controls the position.
Danzig is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Donovan is standing up over Danzig. Danzig looks to escape but Donovan dives into side control.
Donovan tries for a kimura but Danzig is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Donovan wants to control from the top but Danzig keeps moving.

Donovan looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Danzig is bucking up trying to escape but Donovan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Donovan has hold of Danzig's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Danzig manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Donovan won't let Danzig get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Danzig tries to reverse the position but Donovan maintains control.
Donovan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Danzig to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Danzig shrugs it off.

Danzig keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Danzig tries to hold on but Donovan postures up.
Danzig wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Donovan has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Danzig's face.
Donovan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Danzig keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Donovan closes the distance and clinches.
The referee calls for Donovan to work.
Donovan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Donovan has Danzig pressed against the cage, preventing Danzig from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Danzig scores with a nice hook to the head.
Donovan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Donovan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Danzig's guard.
Donovan postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Donovan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Danzig wants to get back to his feet but Donovan is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Danzig is working an open guard so Donovan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Darrel Danzig is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Danzig throws a series of punches but Donovan avoids them all with ease.
Donovan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Danzig is looking to stand back up but Donovan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Danzig.

Donovan breaks from Danzig's wrist control and lands an elbow.
