Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Olds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Layno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Logan Olds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Layno!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Layno with that takedown attempt.
Layno looks for a takedown but Olds sprawls well.

Layno has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Olds is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A decent looking cross lands there for Olds.
Olds lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Layno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olds tries to avoid it but Layno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olds to the ground. Olds escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Olds goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

and Olds cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Layno fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Olds avoids it really well and circles away.

and Olds counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Olds stuffs the takedown attempt from Layno. Layno gets slowly back to his feet.
Layno is trying desperately to land a takedown but Olds is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Layno.
Layno with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Olds to score with a decent uppercut.
Logan Olds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

letting Olds counter with a right hand.

Layno shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Olds is trying to defend but Layno finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Layno gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Olds counters with a straight right hand.
Layno shoots in looking for a takedown. Olds tries to sprawl out of it but Layno keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Olds manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Olds goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Layno shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Logan Olds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Layno.
Olds cracks Layno with an open hand slap.

Layno stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Olds.
Olds fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Layno on the side of the head.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Layno changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Olds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Layno connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Olds some visible discomfort.
Layno looks up at the clock and then as Olds takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Layno smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
