0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Bebeto! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trep throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bebeto's head.
It looks like Paulo Bebeto has been cut. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bebeto. Bebeto working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Bebeto tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bebeto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bebeto throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Trep can't do much from the bottom here. Trep manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Trep seems to be looking for submissions.
Trep really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bebeto gets back to full guard.
Trep throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bebeto works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Trep is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bebeto looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trep with a flurry of punches that miss. Bebeto looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Trep is defending well. Bebeto quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Trep has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bebeto celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
