Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Trent Tickin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trent Tickin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tickin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wilkins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tickin is working away from the top position though. Tickin is keen to just control but Wilkins is a slippery customer. Wilkins is looking to control Tickin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wilkins avoid being mounted? Tickin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wilkins sees it coming and defends easily. Tickin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wilkins's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilkins wants to get back to full guard. Tickin is thwarting Wilkins's attempts to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tickin closes the distance and clinches. Wilkins tries for a takedown. No joy.
Tickin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wilkins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Tickin tightening his grip on Wilkins, looking for the choke. Tickin is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilkins is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tickin gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilkins just trying to survive but Tickin is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Wilkins fending off the submission attempt from Tickin. You can see the frustration on Wilkins's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Wilkins wants to control his opponent's hands but Tickin gets his hands free. Tickin is trying to stick to Wilkins's back but Wilkins is turning into Tickin. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tickin's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wilkins.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wilkins is looking to work some ground and pound but Tickin has wrist control. Wilkins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wilkins lying in Tickin's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Tickin decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Wilkins taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
