Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuwabatake looks to land a left hand but Horus moved out of range nicely. Kuwabatake's corner calls for a 1-2. Kuwabatake obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kuwabatake throws a series of punches but Horus moves out of range. Kuwabatake with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Horus slips a jab from Kuwabatake. Horus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kuwabatake defends it nicely. Kuwabatake darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Horus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kuwabatake tests Horus's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kuwabatake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kuwabatake connects with a crisp jab. Kuwabatake looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick misses from Horus. Kuwabatake pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A swing and a miss from Kuwabatake. Horus takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Horus looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuwabatake lands with a straight right. Horus didn't see that one coming.
Horus is rocked!
It looks like John Horus has been cut. Kuwabatake throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Horus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Horus is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuwabatake finish him? Kuwabatake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horus seems to have recovered his senses. Horus gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kuwabatake has managed to clinch.
Kuwabatake lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Horus. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Horus takes a shot to the head. Kuwabatake manages to break the clinch.
Horus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kuwabatake lands the left hand. Oh, that's a big right hand from Kuwabatake and Horus goes tumbling to the canvas! Kuwabatake follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Kuwabatake works his foot free and advances to mount. Horus is squirming around, avoiding Kuwabatake's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuwabatake takes Horus's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Horus is in trouble. Kuwabatake looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Horus taps!
