Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haggerty pinned against the cage. Haggerty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Haggerty scores with a takedown into Charan's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Charan looking for a guillotine here but Haggerty defends easily.

Charan is striking off his back. Haggerty thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Haggerty is keen to just control but Charan is a slippery customer.

Haggerty's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Charan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Haggerty in particular looking to stall.

Charan is trying to stand up here but Haggerty is controlling him well.
Haggerty postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Charan to stand up.
Haggerty pushes Charan up against the cage in a clinch.
Haggerty really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Haggerty will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Haggerty is looking to take a break and control but Charan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Haggerty wants to stand but Charan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Charan throws a push kick but Haggerty slaps the foot to one side.

and Haggerty counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Haggerty is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Charan can't fight it off and eventually Haggerty manages to take the fight to the floor. Charan looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Haggerty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Charan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Haggerty should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Charan has tightened it up now! Haggerty should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
