Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Miller Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Morton shoots in but Rossi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Morton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Morton tries for a takedown but Rossi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Morton looks to land a combination but Rossi avoids it well.

Morton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Morton shoots in for a takedown but Rossi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Morton shoots in looking for a takedown. Rossi tries to sprawl out of it but Morton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rossi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rossi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Morton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Morton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rossi sprawls well. Rossi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morton gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Luiz Miller Rossi will probably get the nod.

Morton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rossi tries to avoid it but Morton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rossi to the ground. Rossi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
