Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Si Liha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liha lands a head kick. Gracie smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Liha is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Liha tries to close the distance and clinch but Gracie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gracie stuffs the takedown.
Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Liha is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's time! Liha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gracie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Liha.
Gracie swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Liha doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Liha's guard now.
Liha wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Royce Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
