Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leland Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chapman has chosen Dog the Bounty Hunter (Theme Song) as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leland Chapman! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Benton. Benton dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Benton throws a right hand that Chapman ducks under and follows up with a left that Chapman also avoids with ease. Nice body punch from Chapman. Benton misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chapman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Sam Benton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Benton thows a leg kick but Chapman checks it and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Chapman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Benton. Benton avoids a kick to the body.
Benton looks to throw a body kick and Chapman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chapman. Chapman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Benton smiles and moves away.
Chapman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Benton. That did some damage! This has been an exciting period of action! Benton throws a push kick but Chapman slaps the foot to one side. Chapman works over Benton's head and body with a nice combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chapman throws a leg kick but Benton sees it coming and checks it nicely. Benton throws a lazy right hand but Chapman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Benton moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Chapman moves away from the strike by Benton. Chapman takes a swing at Benton's ribcage but misses. Chapman throws a leg kick and Benton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chapman on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Chapman moves into range and clinches up with Benton. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Benton lands a body shot in the clinch.

Chapman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Benton. Benton circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A little nod from Benton there as he acknowledges the shot. Chapman thuds his right hand into Benton's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Benton gets off balance looking for a body kick and Chapman counters with a slapping leg kick. Benton feints and then cracks Chapman's leading leg with a nice low kick. Chapman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Benton moves away.

Chapman moves into the clinch. Chapman is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Benton is keeping busy. Benton blocking some punches.

Chapman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Benton is letting Chapman control him for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Leland Chapman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Chapman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
