The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez throws a right and a left that Nelson Jr avoids nicely.
Juarez tries to clinch there but Nelson Jr circles away.

Juarez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nelson Jr.
Nelson Jr finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Juarez throws a nice looking combination but Nelson Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nelson Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Juarez finds it's way round the side to connect with Nelson Jr's head.

Juarez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nelson Jr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Juarez shoots for a double leg takedown but Nelson Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Juarez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Juarez tries to close the distance and clinch but Nelson Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Juarez controls Nelson Jr momentarily but Nelson Jr frees himself.
