Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ralph Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lukasz Bialoszewski! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie misses with a wild body shot. Bialoszewski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bialoszewski with a hook.
It looks like Ralph Gracie has been cut. Bialoszewski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bialoszewski moves away. Bialoszewski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bialoszewski misses with a body kick. Bialoszewski pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bialoszewski tries to move into range but Gracie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gracie digs a good body shot into Bialoszewski's ribs. A clash of legs there as Gracie blocks the low kick. Lukasz Bialoszewski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bialoszewski's guard. Gracie works over Bialoszewski with some ground and pound from guard. Gracie preventing the sweep. Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gracie trying to control but Bialoszewski is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bialoszewski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bialoszewski wants to hit a switch here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bialoszewski there! Bialoszewski is wriggling around trying to escape.
