Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lector drives through and clinches with Guy against the cage.
Lector jumps guard.
Lector looking for a guillotine here but Guy defends easily.
Lector looking to control.
Lector is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Guy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Guy looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Lector is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lector pushes Guy off and gets back to his feet.
Guy scores with a body shot.

Lector shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Guy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lector can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Guy wants to free his trapped foot but Lector is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Guy is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Guy looks to clinch
and Lector makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Guy really felt that one!
Guy stuffs the takedown attempt from Lector. Lector gets slowly back to his feet.
Lector lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lector fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lector closes this distance looking for a takedown but Guy circles away.

Guy tries to clinch but Lector is having none of it.

Lector shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guy's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hannibal Lector dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lector tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Guy misses with a few strikes there.
Lector closes the distance and clinches.
Guy is working for takedown but Lector is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lector turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lector manages to end up in side control.
Lector wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guy keeps working.
Guy is looking to regain half guard here but Lector keeps moving and retains side control.
Guy tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lector presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Guy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lector has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lector!
Guy wriggles free and stands up.
Guy drives through and clinches with Lector against the cage.
Guy misses with a knee to the head.
Guy is trying to break free.
Lector is fighting off a takedown attempt but Guy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lector to the mat. Lector regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Guy pushes down on Lector's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Guy wants to pass the guard but Lector is defending well.

Guy wants to stand but Lector has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Guy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Guy is looking to take a break and control but Lector is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Guy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Guy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lector keeps working.

Guy is looking for a kimura but Lector is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guy to get the leverage.

Jay Guy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Guy throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Lector counters by moving into the clinch.
Lector is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Guy pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lector feints and as Guy raises his hands in defense, Lector changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lector has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Guy is proving hard to escape from.
Guy wriggles free and stands up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lector is looking to clinch.
Guy pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lector is out of range and Guy settles back down.
Jay Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Guy throws a right hand that Lector ducks under and follows up with a left that Lector also avoids with ease.

Guy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lector swivels and escapes.
Lector throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Guy.
Guy darts in and clinches Lector up against the cage.
Lector tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Guy tries to stall but Lector uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Guy goes for a takedown attempt but Lector pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Lector counters with a solid body kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Guy scores with a four punch combination!
Nice body punch from Guy.
Guy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Lector lands a head kick. Guy smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Guy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Guy takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nice sprawl there from Lector as Guy shoots in.

Guy moves in looking to clinch but Lector pushes him off.

Lector avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hannibal Lector is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Guy fails with the takedown.
Lector gets caught flat footed, as Guy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Guy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A left lands for Lector.
Lector drops Guy with a right and a left! Lector comes rushing in but Guy regains his composure and manages to keep Lector in guard.
Guy is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Guy is still on wobbly legs! Can Lector finish him?
Lector has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Lector distracts Guy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Guy seems to have recovered his senses.

Lector passes easily into side control. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lector looks up at the clock and then as Guy takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lector smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Lector is working to tighten is grip on Guy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Guy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lector is really squeezing tight and eventually Guy passes out! Lector breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
