Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Les Claypool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Parker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Les Claypool's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Les Claypool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claypool has a takedown stuffed.
Parker checks a leg kick nicely.
Parker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Claypool sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Claypool takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Claypool walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Claypool fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Claypool throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Claypool feints and as Parker raises his hands in defense, Claypool changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Parker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Parker wants to sweep but no luck.
Claypool tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Parker is on top in guard.

Claypool is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Claypool is staying active underneath Parker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Parker decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Claypool misses with a body shot.

Claypool shoots in but Parker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Claypool throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Claypool tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parker was well out of range. Poor timing from Claypool.
Claypool throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parker's waist but Parker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Claypool off to one side.

Claypool shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parker sprawls well. Parker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Claypool gets slowly back to his feet.
Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Claypool circles away.

Claypool swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Claypool changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parker tries to avoid it but Claypool manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parker to the ground. Parker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Claypool looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Claypool shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Parker pinned against the cage. Parker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Parker feints and then cracks Claypool's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Claypool down.
Claypool is looking to wear down Parker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Parker lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Claypool or not.

Parker crunches a lovely knee into Claypool's ribcage.
Claypool is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
