PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cleon Warlord (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rage might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I'm a Beast. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beast Rage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cleon Warlord!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warlord pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rage checks the leg kick.
Warlord misses with a body kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Warlord lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rage has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rage and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Warlord misses with a low kick.
Rage lands a nice shot to the body.
Warlord fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rage is out of range.

Rage clinches up against the ropes.
Rage stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A shot in the inside from Rage.
Rage lands a nice uppercut.

Rage tightens his grip and picks Warlord up, before dumping him to the ground. Warlord manages to land in guard.

Rage thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rage trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Warlord is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rage throwing strikes but missing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rage trying to control but Warlord is working from the bottom.
Rage trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Rage drops back looking for a leg! Warlord is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warlord manages to kick Rage off! Rage jumps back into Warlord's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Warlord throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cleon Warlord is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rage avoids the head kick by Warlord.
Warlord is looking to score with low kicks.

Rage moves into range and clinches up with Warlord.
Stalling in the clinch from Rage.
Rage is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Warlord pulls him back up using the underhooks.
A frustrated look appears on Warlord's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Rage avoiding damage.
Rage goes for a takedown in the clinch but Warlord prevents it.
Warlord gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beast Rage. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rage makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rage pressing his opponent against the ropes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rage is trying to drag Warlord to the mat but Warlord just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Warlord can't break the clinch.
Warlord tries to break the clinch but Rage is controlling the position.
Rage makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rage looking for a takedown.
Rage stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Rage drops down looking for an ankle pick but Warlord pulls his leg out and moves away.

Warlord lands a big head kick that sends Rage tumbling to the mat! Warlord takes a step backwards and waves Rage back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rage is rocked!

It looks like Beast Rage has been cut.
Warlord misses with a head kick.
Warlord looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Warlord tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Warlord looks gassed!

Rage gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Rage trying to control from half guard but Warlord is working away.
Warlord keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Warlord really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Warlord pushes Rage off looking to stand but Rage dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rage is looking to take a break and control but Warlord is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beast Rage dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Beast Rage's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Warlord lands a big head kick that sends Rage tumbling to the mat! Warlord takes a step backwards and waves Rage back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Rage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Warlord feints and then cracks Rage's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rage down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warlord seems to be stalking Rage here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Rage drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
