Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Albert Desalvo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Spencer!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desalvo throws a looping overhand right but Spencer ducks down to avoid it.
Desalvo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Desalvo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dylan Spencer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Spencer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Desalvo throws a hook to the side of Spencer's head but Spencer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Spencer has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Desalvo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Spencer.

Desalvo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Desalvo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spencer tries to avoid it but Desalvo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spencer to the ground. Spencer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Desalvo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Spencer can pounce on him.

Desalvo shoots in looking for a takedown. Spencer tries to sprawl out of it but Desalvo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Spencer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
