Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Greg Garney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, gary conroy!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
conroy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Garney gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows conroy to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garney is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
conroy trying to control the position from guard on top but Garney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Garney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
conroy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Garney throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! conroy escapes and throws Garney's legs to the side, diving into side control!
You can see the frustration on Garney's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

conroy just content to control the position.
Let's hope that conroy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

conroy is looking to take a break and control but Garney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
conroy misses with a few strikes there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
conroy throws a leg kick which misses Garney's front leg but catches the back leg as Garney tries to avoid it.
Garney gets cracked there but stands up to it.
conroy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
conroy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Garney did well to prevent conroy getting side control.
conroy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garney keeps working.
conroy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
conroy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Garney is breathing heavily.
conroy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
conroy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Garney's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
conroy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
conroy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Garney is looking to control conroy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Garney avoid being mounted?
conroy seems to be working for a kimura but Garney defends the submission attempt.
Garney is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! conroy is tapping! Great win for Garney!
