1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Drago! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago shoots in but Bonjarski avoids the takedown attempt easily. Drago drives through with a takedown into guard. Bonjarski has momentary wrist control but Drago slips an elbow through the middle. Drago wants to control from the top but Bonjarski keeps moving. Drago trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Drago is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bonjarski controls Drago momentarily but Drago frees himself. Drago missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bonjarski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Drago wants to stand but Bonjarski has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Drago lands a couple of digs. Drago trying to control the position from guard on top but Bonjarski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drago thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Drago trying to control but Bonjarski is working from the bottom. Bonjarski controls Drago momentarily but Drago frees himself. Drago trying to control but Bonjarski is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago wants to stand but Bonjarski is controlling his posture from full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Drago looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bonjarski! Drago looks gassed! Drago thowing shots but they're missing. Bonjarski blocking the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago looking to control and managing it successfully. Bonjarski is squirming around, avoiding Drago's attempts to control the action. Drago goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bonjarski is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Drago can't keep his opponent in guard - Bonjarski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Drago changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bonjarski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Drago is trying to ground and pound but Bonjarski uses the momentary lack of control by Drago to regain half guard. Drago trying to mount his opponent but Bonjarski defends it. Bonjarski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Drago. Drago is stalling here. Bonjarski is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Drago seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bonjarski has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonjarski tries to stand but Drago is controlling his head. Drago wants to get back to his feet but Bonjarski drags him back down. Drago is breathing heavily. Drago is trying to improve his position. Bonjarski tries to stand but Drago is controlling his head.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bonjarski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Drago. Drago shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonjarski as he jumps to the side. Bonjarski tries to clinch but Drago is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Drago swats away the attempt to clinch by Bonjarski. Drago shoots in and bounces Bonjarski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Drago drops back looking for a leg! Bonjarski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bonjarski manages to kick Drago off! Drago jumps back into Bonjarski's guard. Drago wants to get up but he can't break Bonjarski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Drago tries to close the distance and clinch but Bonjarski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drago tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bonjarski swivels and escapes. Remmy Bonjarski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Drago. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drago. Bonjarski moves in looking to clinch but Drago pushes him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Drago showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Drago keeps the fight on the outside. Drago misses with a low kick. Bonjarski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bonjarski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bonjarski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Drago. Drago throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bonjarski's waist but Bonjarski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Drago off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonjarski shoots for a double leg takedown but Drago sprawls well. He's pushed Bonjarski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Drago fails with the takedown. Remmy Bonjarski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Drago. Drago takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonjarski doesn't succeed with the takedown and Drago counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Drago. Bonjarski not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bonjarski is defended easily by Drago. Drago has a takedown stuffed. Drago swats away the attempt to clinch by Bonjarski. Drago wants to clinch up but Bonjarski keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Drago tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bonjarski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drago somewhat. Bonjarski misses with a takedown attempt - Drago sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Drago has a takedown stuffed. Drago fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Remmy Bonjarski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ivan Drago is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bonjarski closes the distance but Drago moves to the side and Drago counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bonjarski!
And that's the end of the fight! Ivan Drago comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Drago winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
