Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Jake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoyce Greycie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greycie has chosen Parang Tanga Lang as his entrance music. The key to victory for Iron Jake has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iron Jake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hoyce Greycie! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jake shoots in but no luck this time. Greycie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jake as he jumps to the side. Jake stalks Greycie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Greycie's face. Greycie staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Hoyce Greycie has been cut. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jake. Greycie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jake. Jake throws a chopping leg kick but Greycie manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jake throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Greycie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Greycie looks gassed! Jake fails with the takedown and Greycie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jake's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greycie stops Jake from standing up. Greycie wants to control from the top but Jake keeps moving. Greycie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jake dives on top into guard. Greycie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jake uses it to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greycie is trying to control Jake's posture but Jake avoids it. Greycie tries to buck Jake off but Jake is having none of it. Greycie pushes Jake away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jake gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Jake throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jake tries to score with some ground and pound. Greycie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Greycie defending against the ground and pound.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jake wants to clinch but Greycie slips to the side and Greycie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jake's guard. Jake could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Greycie has gone for a leg lock! Jake slips out almost immediately though and dives into Greycie's guard. Jake wants to pass the guard but Greycie is keeping the position. Greycie throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jake has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Greycie keeping moving, preventing Jake from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greycie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jake has picked Greycie up and slammed him! Greycie can't keep hold of the triangle and Jake manages to pass to side control! Jake looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Greycie is avoiding damage well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Poor strikes thrown by Jake there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Greycie wants to control but Jake is having none of it. Jake throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Jake lands a heavy elbow. Jake tries to control but Greycie wriggling away. Greycie tries to lock up and control but Jake gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Greycie is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iron Jake dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hoyce Greycie's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Greycie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jake did well to prevent Greycie getting side control. Greycie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Greycie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jake has managed to free his arm - good work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jake is looking for a sweep. Greycie is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Greycie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Greycie seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Jake has recovered full guard. Jake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Greycie defends well. Greycie has gone for a leg lock! Jake slips out almost immediately though and dives into Greycie's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jake in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jake loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jake postures up in Greycie's guard and throws a big left but Greycie blocks it. Jake trying to control but Greycie is working from the bottom. Greycie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jake trying to stand up but can't free himself from Greycie's guard. Jake got a little sloppy there for a moment and Greycie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jake has managed to get both his arms back between Greycie's legs - danger averted.

Greycie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Greycie looking for a guillotine here but Jake defends easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jake is looking to stand up but Greycie won't let him. Jake is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Greycie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jake is looking to defend but Greycie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jake! Greycie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jake taps out and this one is all over!
