Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Escobar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Escobar sprawls well. Escobar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Holmes gets slowly back to his feet.
Escobar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holmes was covering up waiting for the punch and Escobar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Escobar won't allow Holmes to sweep him here.
Holmes has Escobar pulled in close to control his posture.
Escobar stops Holmes from standing up.
Holmes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Escobar's guard.
Holmes postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Escobar tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Holmes postures up in Escobar's guard and throws a big left but Escobar blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holmes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Holmes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Holmes thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holmes wants to control from the top but Escobar keeps moving.
Escobar throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Escobar preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Holmes cracks Escobar with a solid left hand.
Escobar wants to stand up but Holmes is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holmes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Holmes wants to control from the top but Escobar keeps moving.
Escobar not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Holmes looking to sit in guard and control but Escobar gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Escobar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holmes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Escobar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Holmes lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Escobar!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Escobar tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Escobar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Holmes controlling from mount.
Holmes scores with a couple of good head shots there.
It looks like Antonio Escobar has been cut.
Escobar looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holmes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Escobar is looking to escape.
Holmes lands a big elbow.

Holmes lands a heavy elbow.
Holmes loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Escobar scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Holmes land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Holmes stands and salutes the crowd.
