8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Duddits! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Duddits. carlson takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Charles carlson has been cut. carlson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. carlson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Duddits uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Duddits fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duddits throws out a loose jab but carlson uses good head movement to avoid it. carlson takes a shot right to the bread basket. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! carlson misses with a series of wild punches.

Duddits missing with a left hand there. carlson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Duddits throws a hook to the side of carlson 's head but carlson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. carlson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. carlson thows a body shot but no joy. Duddits throws a shot from downtown. carlson moves away and avoids it. Duddits dips down and scores with a jab to the body. carlson connects with a right hand. Duddits shakes it off. carlson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Duddits. Duddits throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from carlson . Duddits does a little dance to reset his feet. Michael Duddits is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. carlson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. carlson is breathing heavily. Duddits is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Duddits wants to advance to full mount but carlson doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. carlson pushes Duddits off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. carlson throws a big shot that misses. Duddits misses with a double jab.
Duddits loads up on a big right hand but carlson slips the punch. Duddits ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Duddits goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Charles carlson 's cut is getting worse. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duddits fails to land with a series of punches.
Duddits connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed carlson momentarily.
Charles carlson 's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Duddits looks to land a left hand but carlson moved out of range nicely. Duddits cracks carlson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duddits works the jab nicely.

Jeez, Charles carlson 's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Michael Duddits seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duddits lands a brutal uppercut that launches carlson off his feet! carlson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
