Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmen Sandiego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Shane Griffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Carmen Sandiego! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Sandiego misses. Sandiego avoids a punch combination nicely.
Griffin misses with the combination.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sandiego. That's going to slow Griffin down. Sandiego throws a series of punches but Griffin avoids them all with ease. Griffin throws a combination that misses and Sandiego counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Shane Griffin has been cut. Sandiego throws out a powerful jab. Griffin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sandiego was well out of range. Poor timing from Griffin. Sandiego shoots in and bounces Griffin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Griffin is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sandiego looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Griffin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sandiego throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandiego controlling from the top position. Sandiego wants to control from the top but Griffin keeps moving. Sandiego trying to stand up but can't free himself from Griffin's guard. Sandiego controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Griffin keeping moving, preventing Sandiego from controlling successfully. Sandiego wants to stand but Griffin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Griffin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sandiego counters with a shoot takedown. Griffin fights it but they end up in guard. Sandiego wanted to stand there but Griffin had control of the position. Sandiego trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandiego tries to stand but Griffin is controlling from the bottom. Griffin is breathing heavily. Sandiego thows a big elbow that misses. Sandiego wants to pass the guard but Griffin is keeping the position. Sandiego decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Griffin, up you get! Griffin connects with a right hand. Sandiego shakes it off. Sandiego slips under a jab. Shane Griffin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Sandiego. Griffin does a little dance to reset his feet. Shane Griffin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Griffin needs to keep his hands up - Sandiego had a free shot at his head there. Griffin throws a hook to the side of Sandiego's head but Sandiego sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sandiego missing with a left hand there. Griffin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Griffin misses with a leg kick and Sandiego counters with a stiff right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sandiego throws a hook but Griffin avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandiego connects with a good right hand that stumbles Griffin. Griffin circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A slow jab from Sandiego misses its intended target. A chopping leg kick lands by Sandiego. Sandiego lands a head shot. Sandiego scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Griffin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Griffin slips a jab and a cross from Sandiego.

Shane Griffin's cut is getting worse. Sandiego shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! This has been an exciting period of action! Sandiego wants to stand but Griffin is controlling his posture from full guard. Sandiego is pushing down on Griffin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Griffin is fighting to maintain full guard but Sandiego has managed to sneak the leg through. Sandiego tries to stand and escape but Griffin is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandiego stalling. Sandiego wants to control but Griffin is keeping him busy. Griffin is trying to get back to full guard. Sandiego not doing much here.
Griffin wants to control but Sandiego is keeping busy and won't allow it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sandiego uses his free foot to push down on Griffin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Griffin. Sandiego controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmen Sandiego dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shane Griffin's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Sandiego counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Griffin throws a lazy right hand but Sandiego sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sandiego throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Griffin. Sandiego cracks Griffin with a right hand to the side of the head. Griffin slips a jab from Sandiego. Shane Griffin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Griffin with a hook. Sandiego scores with a hook. Griffin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sandiego counters with a series of strikes that sends Griffin to the canvas! Sandiego follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight! Oh Griffin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sandiego working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Griffin's head. Sandiego stays in close to Griffin's body and controls the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Sandiego decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Griffin seems to have got his legs back now. Sandiego connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sandiego throws a right hand that Griffin ducks under and follows up with a left that Griffin also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Griffin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Griffin takes a body punch but keeps moving. Griffin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sandiego misses with a body shot.
Sandiego lands a really nice looking cross but Griffin seems unphased.

Shane Griffin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Griffin walks into a stiff left hand from Sandiego. Sandiego connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Griffin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sandiego has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Griffin tries to bum rush Sandiego with a series of wild strikes but Sandiego uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sandiego throws a leg kick but Griffin moved away. Griffin moves forwards but Sandiego connects with a nice, crisp jab. Griffin misses with a double jab
and Sandiego counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sandiego throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Griffin swings for the body but Sandiego moves out of range.
Sandiego scores with a takedown into Griffin's guard. Sandiego controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Griffin looking to control.
Sandiego stands up and waves to Griffin to follow him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Griffin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Griffin throws a combination that misses and Sandiego counters with a straight right hand. Sandiego stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Sandiego buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sandiego throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sandiego scores with a punch to the head. Griffin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sandiego misses with a series of wild punches.

and Sandiego counters with a three punch combo that has Griffin backing up. Griffin nods at Sandiego to acknowledge the strikes. Sandiego throws a head kick that misses. Nice defenses there by Griffin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Griffin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Griffin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Griffin staying out of range there. Griffin looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Sandiego blocks a head kick by Griffin.
Griffin throws a right and a left that Sandiego avoids nicely. A punch combination from Griffin misses. A swing and a miss from Sandiego. Griffin misses with a few strikes there.
Sandiego throws out a powerful jab. Sandiego lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jeez, Shane Griffin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sandiego darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sandiego controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmen Sandiego showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Shane Griffin's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
