Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah LeBlanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Noah LeBlanc's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Noah LeBlanc! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. LeBlanc tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. LeBlanc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jones scores with a nice head shot. LeBlanc gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Noah LeBlanc has been cut. A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target. Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. LeBlanc drives through with a takedown into guard. LeBlanc must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. LeBlanc landing with the ground and pound. Jones wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and LeBlanc is now in half guard. LeBlanc is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. LeBlanc sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. LeBlanc is working away from the top position though. Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but LeBlanc pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeBlanc throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. LeBlanc is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. LeBlanc gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. LeBlanc is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. LeBlanc throws and elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in LeBlanc's guard. Nice move by Jones! LeBlanc manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking for a triangle but LeBlanc pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. LeBlanc postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. LeBlanc throws a big right hand that misses. LeBlanc is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet. Jones is working hard here to advance position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. LeBlanc shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LeBlanc wants to sweep but no luck. Jones trying to control but LeBlanc is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but LeBlanc is retaining full guard. Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but LeBlanc has wrist control. Jones wants to control from the top but LeBlanc keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. LeBlanc darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. LeBlanc looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jones is looking to control LeBlanc's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones actively working from the bottom here. LeBlanc missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. LeBlanc is thwarting Jones's attempts to control the position. Jones looking for a kimura from the bottom but LeBlanc passes into side control! Jones tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but LeBlanc presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, LeBlanc cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. LeBlanc with a couple of short strikes. Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but LeBlanc has a good base and remains in mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! LeBlanc pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. LeBlanc scoring with strikes but Jones is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Noah LeBlanc dominated that round. The cut man is working on Noah LeBlanc's cut. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones tries for a takedown but LeBlanc sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
It looks like Alexander Jones has been cut. Noah LeBlanc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. LeBlanc shoots and misses and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. LeBlanc feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, LeBlanc changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. LeBlanc content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jones avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. LeBlanc manages to get himself to full guard.
Jones is looking to advance position but LeBlanc has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jones is trying desperately to improve position. LeBlanc lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, LeBlanc cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. LeBlanc is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of LeBlanc's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take LeBlanc's back! Jones throwing sloppy strikes. Jones throwing sloppy strikes. Jones keeps control of the position as LeBlanc tries to break free.

Jones looking to break LeBlanc's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. LeBlanc remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jones will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! LeBlanc rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

LeBlanc is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jones breaks from LeBlanc's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jones lands a nice shot to the head. Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
LeBlanc tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones looking to finish with strikes here!
LeBlanc is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea. Jones landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones landing punches. LeBlanc wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones working for a guillotine from mount but LeBlanc is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Alexander Jones will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
LeBlanc needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Jones swinging wildly here.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt and LeBlanc counters with a shoot takedown. Jones fights it but they end up in guard. Jones has his foot on LeBlanc's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. LeBlanc works his way back into a safe position though. Jones is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! LeBlanc has his hands clasped together but Jones extends an breaks LeBlanc's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jones.
