Heke's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, She Hates Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heke tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.

and Heke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silva takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Heke misses with a hook.
Silva tries to clinch there but Heke circles away.
Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Heke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jake Heke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silva manages to avoid it.
Silva avoids the body shot from Heke.
Silva lands a front kick.
Silva connects with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Heke's head.
Silva on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A solid leg kick lands there for Silva.
Heke fails to land with a series of punches.
Heke is breathing heavily.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Silva works Heke's body with a nice hook.
Heke moves forwards but Silva connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Heke with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.

Silva lands with a right that hurts Heke. Heke looks to clinch but Silva throws a short knee that drops Heke. This one is all over!
