PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terry Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavriil Endymion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Endymion is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Message. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Striker shoots in but Endymion avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Striker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Endymion.
Gavriil Endymion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Striker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Endymion but Endymion pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Striker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Endymion has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Endymion and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Striker drops Endymion with a beautiful combination! Endymion stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Striker is looking for the KO!

Endymion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Striker tries to avoid it but Endymion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Striker to the ground. Striker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Terry Striker will probably get the nod.

Endymion looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Striker connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Endymion tumbling to the canvas! Striker pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Endymion was done - good stoppage!
