Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eazy E (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ben Hall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ben Hall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eazy E! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! E has managed to clinch.
E is trying to drag Hall to the mat but Hall just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. E changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hall fights it off and pushes away nicely.
E dodges the punch combination from Hall.
E is looking to clinch. A big head kick from E and Hall is sent sprawling to the canvas!
It looks like Ben Hall has been cut. E pushes down on Hall's leg and manages to get into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. E prevents Hall from standing back up.
E wants to stand but Hall has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. E misses with a head shot. Hall uses the momentum to regain guard. E trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. E wants to pass the guard but Hall is keeping the position. Hall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hall utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. E is looking to clinch. E throws a combination that misses and Hall counters with a lovely straight right hand! Some wild striking there from Hall.
E shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ben Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eazy E. E tries a head kick but it misses.
Hall stalks E and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into E's face. E staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Eazy E has been cut. E wants to clinch. E tries to clinch up and E takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. E looks gassed! Hall circles away from the clinch attempt and Hall counters with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. E tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hall misses with a two punch combination.

Hall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hall throws a front kick aimed at E's knee but E avoids it well. Hall goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Good standup being displayed there by E as he connects with a hook. Hall throws a right and a left that both miss. Hall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
E is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hall is rocked! E instigates a clinch. Oh Hall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! E tries to land a knee to the head but Hall blocks with his arms.
Hall seems to have got his legs back now. E using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hall has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. E throws a leg kick but Hall moved away. Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
E tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily and Hall counters with a left to the body. Hall throws a head kick that misses. Hall misses with a series of wild punches.
E tries to clinch and Hall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hall swinging wildly here.
E shoots in looking for a takedown. Hall tries to sprawl out of it but E keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. E tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily and Hall counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for E! Hall stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hall looks to land a combination. E sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A combination from Hall does no damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Hall dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

E closes the distance but Hall moves to the side so Hall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hall tries to stand but E is controlling from the bottom. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. E is working an open guard so Hall takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hall misses with a double jab.
E throws a nice outside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! E changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hall is not content to let E control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hall is trying to escape and get back to his feet. E postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
E tries to score with some ground and pound. Hall controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. E goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hall rolls with the submission and now he's on top in E's guard! Nice work there by Hall! Hall has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hall gets to his feet - E follows without any prompting. Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by E.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hall throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. E was covering up waiting for the punch and Hall finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hall tries to stand but E is controlling from the bottom. E is adopting a defensive guard. E scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. E fails with the takedown and Hall counters with a one-two to the body. Eazy E seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall stuffs the takedown. Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but E moves out of range and avoids them all easily. E looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hall wants to stand up but E is controlling him. E throwing strikes but missing. E wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. E stands up from guard. Let's bang! E lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hall will feel that in the morning. A leg kick checked by E. E with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hall to score with a decent uppercut. Hall avoids the head kick by E.
Hall throws a series of punches but E moves out of range. Hall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as E sprawls well. E wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hall gets slowly back to his feet. Hall blocks a head kick by E.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. E wants to clinch and Hall counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Hall swinging wildly here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Hall will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Hall throws a combination that misses and E counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hall is lucky that one didn't land flush. A punch combination from Hall misses. Ben Hall is winning the standup battle so far. Hall connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. E misses with a head kick.

Ben Hall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Eazy E comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
