Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huell Howser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gora Sammo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howser's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Calilfornia Uber Alles. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Sammo.
Howser misses with the combination.
Sammo lands a head kick. Howser smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Howser jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Howser tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sammo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Howser somewhat.
Sammo cracks Howser with an open hand slap.
Sammo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sammo tries to bum rush Howser with a series of wild strikes but Howser uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Howser. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Sammo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Howser takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Sammo finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Sammo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Howser had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Sammo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Sammo lands a glancing blow to the side of Howser's head.
Howser has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sammo finds it's way round the side to connect with Howser's head.
Sammo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

A lazy left from Sammo finds it's target.

Sammo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sammo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sammo cracks Howser with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Howser gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Sammo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A head kick from Sammo lands but Howser takes it in his stride.
Huell Howser is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Howser will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Howser takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sammo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sammo connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Howser! He's out on his feet! Sammo rushes in and drops Howser with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
