Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Uri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Woods's entrance music is Jackson 5 - ABC. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Manny Woods has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Manny Woods seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods throws an overhand right that lands on Uri's shoulder, as Uri tries to avoid the shot.
Uri misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Manny Woods has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Uri.
A looping hook to the body misses from Uri. Woods does a little dance to reset his feet.

Uri shoots in for a takedown but Woods shows good takedown defense.
Woods throws a lazy right hand but Uri sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Uri shoots for a double leg takedown but Woods sprawls well. He's pushed Uri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Woods throws out a loose jab but Uri uses good head movement to avoid it.

Woods throws a shot from downtown. Uri moves away and avoids it.

It looks like Sam Uri has been cut.
Uri has a takedown stuffed.
Manny Woods is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Woods scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Woods misses with an uppercut. Uri saw that one coming.
Uri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Woods's waist but Woods gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uri off to one side.
Woods cracks Uri with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Uri falls to his knees and Woods doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manny Woods!
