Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksim Drozdov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juice Pigg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drozdov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to T .W .A .T . - Too Rude For Radio. Juice Pigg has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Maksim Drozdov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maksim Drozdov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juice Pigg!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drozdov walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Pigg fails to land with a series of punches.
Pigg gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Drozdov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Pigg keeping moving, preventing Drozdov from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pigg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Drozdov manages to get himself to full guard.
Drozdov is breathing heavily.
Pigg's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Pigg trying to control but Drozdov is working from the bottom.
Pigg might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Drozdov kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Pigg with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pigg is stalling in the full guard.
Pigg missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pigg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drozdov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by Drozdov or perhaps it was just good defense by Pigg which made him look bad.
Pigg tries to bum rush Drozdov with a series of wild strikes but Drozdov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Drozdov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Pigg looks to land a left hand but Drozdov moved out of range nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pigg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pigg jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice defenses there by Drozdov.
Pigg misses the shot to the body.
Pigg lands with a right hand.
Drozdov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pigg.
Pigg shoots in and bounces Drozdov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pigg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Drozdov is looking to stand up but Pigg isn't so interested in that idea.
Pigg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Drozdov is keeping the position for now.
Pigg slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Drozdov looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pigg has picked Drozdov up and slammed him! Drozdov can't keep hold of the triangle and Pigg manages to pass to side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juice Pigg dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pigg lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Drozdov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pigg connects with a looping right hand.
Drozdov is rocked!
Pigg cracks Drozdov with a left hook right on the temple and Drozdov goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Pigg lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Drozdov is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juice Pigg!
