Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Lukyayenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Eckel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Lukyayenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terry Eckel! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lukyayenko scores with a nice strike. Lukyayenko moves into the clinch. Lukyayenko lands a nice shot to the body. Lukyayenko wants to break free but Eckel has control.
Lukyayenko jumps into guard, dragging Eckel to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eckel trying to control the position from guard on top but Lukyayenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Eckel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lukyayenko is keeping the position for now. Lukyayenko keeping moving, preventing Eckel from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eckel tries to stand but Lukyayenko is controlling from the bottom. Eckel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lukyayenko has Eckel pulled in close to control his posture.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Eckel tries to clinch but fails miserably and Lukyayenko counters by moving into the clinch. Lukyayenko jumps into guard, dragging Eckel to the mat.
Eckel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Eckel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lukyayenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lukyayenko looking for a sweep. Not yet Lukyayenko, not yet. Lukyayenko pulls Eckel in close to prevent any damage. Eckel working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Lukyayenko keeping full guard, as Eckel tries to pass. Eckel drops back looking for a leg! Lukyayenko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lukyayenko manages to kick Eckel off! Eckel jumps back into Lukyayenko's guard. Eckel looks gassed! Lukyayenko controlling the position. Eckel forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eckel seems to be working for a kimura but Lukyayenko defends the submission attempt. Lukyayenko controlling the position well. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lukyayenko avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Eckel. Lukyayenko is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lukyayenko regains full guard. Nicely done. Lukyayenko looking for a sweep. Not yet Lukyayenko, not yet. Eckel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lukyayenko is keeping the position for now. Eckel drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lukyayenko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Eckel has Lukyayenko in his guard. Lukyayenko lands a couple of decent looking shots. Eckel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lukyayenko preventing the sweep. Eckel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lukyayenko's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eckel scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Eckel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lukyayenko keeping full guard, as Eckel tries to pass. Lukyayenko pulls Eckel in to control the position. Eckel advances to half guard. Lukyayenko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Eckel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Eckel's back! Eckel rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Eckel looking for a kimura from the bottom but Lukyayenko passes into side control! Lukyayenko lands a decent elbow from side control.
It looks like Terry Eckel has been cut. Lukyayenko moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Lukyayenko working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Lukyayenko dominated that round. The cut man is working on Terry Eckel's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Eckel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lukyayenko gets the takedown into side control.
Eckel is rocked! Eckel taking a bit of punishment here - Lukyayenko scoring with strikes. Eckel is still on wobbly legs! Can Lukyayenko finish him? Eckel is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lukyayenko stands up. Lukyayenko looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Eckel seems to have recovered his senses. Lukyayenko is stalling in the full guard. Eckel keeping full guard, as Lukyayenko tries to pass. Eckel is breathing heavily. Lukyayenko won't allow Eckel to sweep him here. Lukyayenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eckel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lukyayenko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lukyayenko passes into half guard. Lukyayenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Eckel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Still in half guard, Lukyayenko seems content to control. Eckel is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fedor Lukyayenko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lukyayenko uses his free foot to push down on Eckel's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eckel. Lukyayenko in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Eckel flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Eckel tries to reverse the position but Lukyayenko maintains control. Eckel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lukyayenko looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Eckel can't escape the position.
Lukyayenko misses with a head shot. Lukyayenko is in the full mount, landing strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lukyayenko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eckel tries to hold on but Lukyayenko pushes him away. Eckel is looking to improve his position but Lukyayenko isn't that keen on the idea. Eckel looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Lukyayenko has the hooks in. Eckel is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Lukyayenko is not going to allow Eckel to sit and survive in this position. Lukyayenko is riding his opponent, not letting Eckel buck him off. Lukyayenko landing with strikes. You can see the frustration on Eckel's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Lukyayenko has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Eckel's body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Lukyayenko controlling the positon. Lukyayenko keeps control of the position as Eckel tries to break free.
Eckel wants to get back to his feet. Eckel showing good submission defense here.
Lukyayenko has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Eckel has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Eckel just trying to survive but Lukyayenko is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Lukyayenko working for a choke but Eckel is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Lukyayenko dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Terry Eckel's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Eckel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lukyayenko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Eckel is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Lukyayenko pulls his head out easily. Lukyayenko perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Lukyayenko stands up and beckons Eckel to join him on the feet. Eckel tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lukyayenko holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lukyayenko taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Lukyayenko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lukyayenko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Eckel is trying desperately to improve position. Lukyayenko trying to control but Eckel is having none of it. Eckel is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lukyayenko with the ground and pound from mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Eckel is looking to get to half guard. Lukyayenko lands a big elbow. Eckel is working to get back to half guard.
Lukyayenko fails to move to back control. Lukyayenko controlling from the full mount. Lukyayenko looking to secure an arm triangle but Eckel defends it well. Lukyayenko get's back to his feet. Terry Eckel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eckel fails with the takedown and Lukyayenko counters with a nice kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lukyayenko throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Eckel with a poor takedown and Lukyayenko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Eckel won't be happy with that. Fedor Lukyayenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Terry Eckel. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Eckel regains half guard. Lukyayenko seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Eckel regains full guard. Nicely done. Eckel is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Eckel looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Eckel thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Lukyayenko wants to stand but Eckel is controlling his posture from full guard. Lukyayenko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Eckel to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lukyayenko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Eckel pulls down on the head and he's put Lukyayenko to sleep! This one is all over!
