Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Umipig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawasaki Dojo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Umipig comes to the cage accompanied by Loser. Brandon Umipig has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dojo throws a sloppy head kick and Umipig moves out of range easily.
Dojo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Umipig shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Umipig showed some decent athleticism there.
Dojo is looking to escape.
Dojo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Umipig is controlling the pace.

Umipig is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dojo defends it well.
Dojo wants to get back to his feet.

Umipig wants to pass to mount but Dojo is defending the position.
Dojo tries to kick Umipig off in order to stand up. Umipig Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Dojo tries to escape but Umipig is in control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dojo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Umipig is controlling him well.

Umipig's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dojo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Umipig asserts his dominance and retains side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Brandon Umipig.
Dojo throws a sloppy head kick and Umipig moves out of range easily.
Umipig ducks right into an uppercut from Dojo.

Umipig drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Umipig staying calm.
Dojo wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Umipig just content to control the position.

Dojo tries to escape back to his feet but Umipig has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Dojo's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Dojo is tapping! Umipig saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
